Cookies

Every cookie this site sets

A complete list, not a category summary. If you find something in your browser from this domain that is not on this page, tell us, because it means we have made a mistake.

This site sets no cookies of its own. Everything below is set by a third party service we use. We have kept the list short deliberately, and it is shorter than most sites of this kind.

No advertising cookies are set on this site today. If that changes, this page changes first.

The list

What is stored in your browser

Two services store anything at all. Note that our analytics uses local storage rather than cookies, which is why it does not appear in a cookie banner elsewhere on the web.

Not here

What this site does not set

01No advertising or retargeting cookies. We do not currently run ads, and nothing on this site is building an advertising profile of you.
02No social media tracking pixels. The LinkedIn and Facebook links in the footer are ordinary links and load nothing until you click them.
03No Google Analytics. Our tag container loads the chat messenger and nothing else at present.
04No cookies from our own domain. The site itself needs none to work, and it is faster for it.
05No fonts loaded from Google. The typeface is served from this domain, so your visit is not announced to a third party before the page has finished rendering.

How to stop any of this

In rough order of how little effort each one takes.

01

Turn on Do Not Track in your browser

We honour it. If your browser sends the signal, our analytics and session recording do not start at all, and nothing is stored. Most sites ignore this setting, which is why it fell out of use, but it works here and it is a single toggle in your browser's privacy settings.

02

Block third party cookies

Every current browser can do this in its privacy settings, and Safari and Firefox do a good deal of it by default. It stops the Intercom cookies above. The site itself keeps working, and so does the messenger within a single visit.

03

Clear your site data

Clearing cookies and local storage for opendimension.ai removes everything listed on this page, including the analytics identifier. You will be counted as a new visitor afterwards, which is fine by us.

04

Use a tracker blocker

uBlock Origin, Privacy Badger and the blocking built into Brave and Safari will all stop Mixpanel and Intercom loading here. We are not going to pretend to mind.

05

Just ask us

Email hello@opendimension.ai and ask to be excluded, and we will exclude you. It is a small enough operation that this works.

Consent

Why there is no cookie banner yet

Because we have not built one. Under UK and EU rules, storing analytics data in a visitor's browser needs consent first, and asking for it properly means a consent manager wired into every tag on the site. That work is scheduled, and it has to be finished before we advertise in the UK or Europe. Until then the position is this page, the Do Not Track signal being honoured, and the fact that we are telling you rather than hoping you do not ask.

01What is stored: everything on this page and nothing else.
02What it is used for: working out which pages are worth writing.
03What it is not used for: advertising profiles, selling, or any decision about you.
